✍︎ Dan
Stand with the hands that harvest the sun,
Palms scarred by labor, yet never undone.
They stitch tomorrow with calloused grace,
Carving hope into time, one day, one place.
Stand where the barefoot children dream,
Where laughter survives beside empty streams.
Where every heartbeat dares to believe
That justice is more than a word to achieve.
Be the rain for fields that thirst in silence,
Be the light that outlives fear and violence.
For a nation is not its towering walls,
But the voices that rise when compassion calls.
“Maka-masa ka dapat.”
Not merely spoken—
But breathed into every promise,
Every choice, every hand extended.
For the strongest hearts are never those
That stand above the crowd,
But those that kneel to lift another.
So stand with the Filipino people—
Not behind them,
Not before them,
But beside them.
Because a country is not built by power,
Nor measured by the wealth of a few.
It is written in the sweat of workers,
The prayers of mothers,
The courage of students,
And the quiet resilience of every soul
Who refuses to surrender hope.
Stand with them.
For when we choose each other over indifference,
The darkest skies begin to shine.
And when every Filipino finds dignity, justice, and belonging,
Even the stars learn the meaning of home.
